Jeff Cole, Anderson County Clerk, is pleased to announce that his office now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports Monday thru Friday in the Oak Ridge office. The office is located at 728 Emory Valley Road. The cost of a passport is $100 dollars and takes about six to eight weeks to receive it. To expedited your passport you can pay $160 dollars and receive it in about three weeks. To receive a passport you must bring to our office proof of U.S. Citizenship, proof of identity, and two recent color photographs that are 2x2 in size.
