Commission Minutes

The County Clerk keeps the official records of the County Commission. The County Clerk has a close relationship with the County Commission. The Clerk serves the Commission by performing such duties as calling roll, recording votes, and taking and storing the official minutes.
The County Commission, as it is usually called, is the county legislative body. It is composed of sixteen members chosen by nonpartisan election, with two representing each of the county's eight districts.
